DRAMACISE is a new and innovative health and fitness programme for primary four to seven.
The sessions are designed around the health and wellbeing and expressive arts areas of a Curriculum for Excellence.
DRAMACISE uses drama as a learning tool to teach health, fitness and exercise, making the experience fun and unconventional thus encouraging pupils into exercise who may not generally enjoy or excel in other sports and fitness sessions. The programme is twofold; using physical drama games and exercises for fitness and using drama as a learning tool to promote healthy living.
The programme can be delivered in school time with teachers’ notes available for ongoing development within the school. It is also an ideal before or after school activity.

The programme is designed to embrace the four capacities of a Curriculum for Excellence
